Recently, we’ve all had a lot of extra time on our hands and when you’ve been working hard for the past decade, having some well deserved time off is great. But when you’re given huge amounts of free time, you can often get that feeling of isolation and boredom creeps in.<\/p>\n
But there are plenty of activities you can do to help get over this. It’s all about stimulating your mind and allowing it to feel active by doing something that you enjoy. When you’re in a slump, it can be difficult to get out of this mindset, so even if something doesn’t feel fun, you can sometimes jump-start yourself into feeling the fun once it gets going.<\/p>\n

Puzzles are great way to do something that has a very satisfying ending (unless you buy a puzzle with missing pieces -yikes!). Starting a puzzle is a great way to improve your analysing skills and come up with techniques to sort out all the different shapes and colors.<\/p>\n
You will find that you get lots of small euphoria moments when you find a piece that you’ve been looking for ages. And Puzzles are great to do with family too and can be a nice way to have a casual conversation.<\/p>\n
Board Games have long been forgotten about in the technology age but they are making a comeback as people look to get away from the social media world and back to a more simpler time. Board Games can be both complicated or simple depending on what you prefer. They too are also great social games to play, including challenging and thought-provoking should you get a decent one.<\/p>\n
